about
The Eno River runs through the heart of North Carolina, where I was born. I spent countless hours near the Eno in a spaceship made of rocks while Mom and David fished. Many folks inspire me to make music as do many places. This song was recorded on a 1915 Gibson F4 mandolin, 1930's ViViTone guitar, and Teenage Engineering's OPZ. It was recorded to tape on a Sony WM-D6C then multi-tracked into garageband and audacity. I recorded the mandolin in Durham, NC one July 4th weekend, during the Festival on the Eno, upstairs at my mom's. Many thanks to all the musicians that inspire me. If I know you, there is you in this song.
